If the performance of the engine slowly decreases as the mileage increases, then the cause is often a worn piston or even a complete cylinder. unfortunately, 125cc 4-stroke engines are very susceptible to inferior oils or poor maintenance. If this is the case with you and you notice that the original engine is slowly but surely giving up the ghost, this is a reason to declare the entire bike ready for scrap.

Airsal replica cylinders are primarily an inexpensive alternative to the expensive original KTM cylinder. However, Airsal not only uses a copy of the original cylinder, but also improves the coating, the piston and the quality of the original piston rings.
An increase in performance is not to be expected, but the cylinder should far exceed the stability of the original model.

By replacing the cylinder, you are therefore on the safe side as far as the life expectancy of your KTM Duke or RC is concerned.

The cylinder head can of course still be used. Delivery includes piston, piston mounting parts (rings, bolts, etc.) & gaskets.
Head bolts must be ordered separately!
