A cylinder for one hundred percent driving fun!

The cylinder consists mainly of an aluminum-silicone alloy. It is coated with a silicone carbide layer, which was processed in the cross-grinding process to ensure optimum lubrication. Due to the new material composition, the thermal conductivity of the cylinder has been further increased.

The very compact and therefore very light piston, designed with three piston rings and a tin ring on the sliding surfaces, is also made of a special aluminum-silicone alloy. It has very low thermal expansion.

The piston rings are very stable and have excellent sliding properties:

• Ring 1: ring for compression
• Ring 2: made of special pig iron
• Ring 3: oil scraper ring
