Exhaust systems become louder with increasing age. One reason for this is that impurities from the engine, such as combustion residues, are deposited in them. In the same way it can also happen that insulation wool comes off the exhaust over time.

The consequence is that the exhaust emission test is not passed and a test badge is not issued by the TÜV. With many exhaust systems it is possible to re-insulate with mineral wool. For this purpose we offer this 25 x 25 cm mat, depending on the volume of the muffler one to 2 mats should be sufficient.
