Kenda winter tyres for cold outside temperatures (from about 6 degrees Celsius). These temperatures place special demands on tires, so winter tires have a much softer rubber compound and give the tire better grip. A deeper tread structure, interspersed with small sipes, helps to displace water.

We recommend the changeover to winter tyres at:

Black ice
Slush
Slippery snow and
Slippery frost

We advise anyone who cannot or does not want to do without their moped even in winter to fit M+S tyres!

Tyres with embossed M+S identification - mud and snow - are of course also suitable as all-season tyres. However, these tyres also increase fuel consumption.
