The LED Bar is available in two different lengths and as a "modular system" it is virtually infinitely expandable. This is made possible by the separately available connecting pieces. The LED Bar can be extended to either 15 cm or 25 cm in length by simply using a plug-in system. The LED's are located on a siliconized circuit board, which is then covered with a transparent silicone. Thus the basic electrical system is absolutely waterproof. We recommend, however, to seal the connections with hot glue or silicone after installation.

Unfortunately, the only shortcoming of the system is that the type of extension is a series connection. This means that the bars glow darker with increasing length, and that if one bar fails, all of them are no longer glowing (although they are not defective). So only the defective bar has to be replaced.

Notes

On the LED Bar are small "+" symbols. These must fit onto the arrow on the connector when installed. So the black/white striped cable automatically becomes the "+" pole of the bars.
The colours cannot be combined with each other due to the different specific resistances. It is possible to combine only blue with blue bars, red with red bars and green with green bars.
