Front wave brake disc from Galfer for KTM Duke or RC 125 from 2014 (vehicles with ABS). Galfer holds various patents on the wave design of brake discs. This design allows better air circulation and thus better heat exchange around the brake disc of your KTM. The floating bearing also has a positive braking effect, as the distortion of the disc due to high temperatures is minimized. In addition, the pad wear is more even with floating discs. This is because even with extreme distortions in the chassis due to, for example, maximum lean angle in curves, the disc remains stable in its shape. In addition, the steel compound is modified by Galfer in such a way that the braking performance of the disc is improved compared to the original disc.

Besides all the technical advantages, the disc simply looks much better than the simple round version. The inner star is made of aluminum and anodized.
