Zinc Spray Presto 400ml

Cold galvanizing against corrosion. Excellent corrosion protection for all ferrous metals such as scooter frames, exhaust systems, machines, metal housings, etc. Especially suitable for the protection of welding seams and for metals that are particularly susceptible to corrosion.

Use presto Zinc Alu Spray for colour-matched repairs of galvanised surfaces.

Properties:

• High-quality zinc coating with over 90% zinc dust in the dry film
• Cathodic corrosion protection for all bare metals
• Resistant to severe corrosion
• High heat resistant up to 600°C
• Especially suitable for welding seams
• Ideal for all metals that are particularly susceptible to rust in outdoor areas

• Binder base: Epoxyester
• Colour: zinc coloured
• Odour: after solvent
• Gloss level: in 60° measuring angle according to DIN 67530 matt: 5 GE
• Yield: Depending on the condition and colour of the substrate, 400 ml is sufficient for approx. 1.0 - 1.5 m² with a covering layer
• Drying (at 20°C, 50% relative humidity):
• Dust dry after approx. 10 minutes
• Tack-free after approx. 20 minutes
• Can be painted over after approx. 24 hours
• Temperature resistant after approx. 8-12 hours
• The drying time depends on the ambient temperature, air humidity and the applied layer thickness.
• Temperature resistance: up to 600°C
• Shelf life/storage: 10 years with proper storage (=10°-25°C, relative humidity of max. 60%)
• Container/contents: Aerosol cans, maximum nominal volume = 400ml
